In the event of a storm, it's important to have a plan and be prepared to act. Below are safety tips to help you keep you and your family safe. 

*If you have trees nearby, make sure to keep them trimmed and well maintained.

*Make sure everyone in your household knows where to go in the event of a storm. This place should be away from windows or heavy items that can fall over.

*Make sure everyone in your household knows where the first aid kit is stored and pack any necessary medication that you or your family would need to have access to.

*Have a list of items to bring with you in the event of a storm and place the list in a place where everyone in your family is familiar with.

*Have a plan, and place for your pets to go in case you need to evacuate your home.
